Outlook Update For Act!

We are excited to announce that Swiftpage, the developers of Act!, have released their plans for a next-generation solution for the Outlook Update For Act!. For Act! users, the seamless interaction with MS Office applications, especially Outlook, is one of the most important features of Act!.

Act! is in the final stages of producing a vastly improved Microsoft Office Integration solution suite for Act!. In this solution, Act! is leveraging the latest Microsoft technology to provide enhancements to the connected experience between Act! and Outlook. This entire solution suite will be released as part of Act! v20.1 in late Q1 2018.

  • Email Attachments
  • Mail Merge
  • Removal of Legacy Technology and Future Proofing

Affected Platforms

  • Microsoft Office: Office 365, Office 2013 / 2016, Exchange, OWA
  • Act! Premium v20.1 and Pro v20.1

It’s worth noting that this is a major redesign of Act! requiring substantial re-coding of the program to make this a core CRM function. As a result, this next-generation Outlook functionality will only be available to users that have an active Act! subscription when Act! v20.1 is released or those on Act! Pro v20.1. Users on a lapsed Act! subscription or an earlier version of Act! Pro will not have access to this functionality.
