Swiftpage Emarketing Sunset Notice
As previously announced, Swiftpage Emarketing (SPE) in the process of being discontinued. Please note, SPE was the predecessor and distinctly different product from both Act! Emarketing and Act! Marketing Automation which are still active emarketing platforms. SPE, which is on an aging platform, is slated to be no longer supported as of March 31, 2019 and completely discontinued by June 30, 2019.
I’m a current SPE user. What are my options?
Though an aging product, SPE continues to have a loyal following of users. If you are a current user of SPE and you have not looked into a replacement product, you have several options:
Act! Marketing Automation
With the release of Act! v21 Premium, Swiftpage has something very exciting in store for its users: the all-new Act! Marketing Automation (AMA) platform. AMA is a comprehensive way to optimize all the ways you engage with your prospects and customers and take your marketing to the next level.
Act! Marketing Automation will makes it easy to optimize the many ways you communicate with your prospects and customer to maximize engagement, drive business growth, and take your marketing to the next level. AMA requires API connections. To have access to API connections you must have an active Act! Premium Subscription. This is not an option for Act! Pro users or those who have let their subscription lapse (see options below). For more information about AMA, click here.
Act! emarketing
Act! emarketing (AEM) is a more traditional mass-mail option offered by Act!. Send out one-time email campaigns and email blasts to contacts in your Act! database, track your results in Act, and follow-up on your leads. AEM is a simple and cost-effective way to grow your business by taking the guesswork out of marketing and follow up. As an integrated component of Act!, it is easy to create, send and track eye-appealing email campaigns that reach your customers with the correct message at the right time – and all from within Act!, eliminating the need for third party email marketing solutions. AEM does not have the drip marketing and other advanced features in Act! Marketing Automation. However, AEM is a great option for Act! Pro users or those with traditional emarketing campaigns. MailChimp with Exponenciel 3rd Party Add-on
If AMA or AEM is not a good fit for you, a popular emarketing product is MailChimp. MailChimp is not associated to Act! or Swiftpage officially. However, there is a great 3rd party add-on that links MailChimp directly to your Act! database – all you need to do is design your templates in MailChimp. Create send groups, schedule or send email blast, and manage your results directly within Act! via this 3rd party add-on. To learn about MailChimp direct click here. Please note – Act! Marketing Automation (AMA) is directly replacing the old Swiftpage Emarketing (SPE), which is being retired in June 2019. Please note that AMA is a separate product than Act! Emarketing (AEM). For those customers with current AEM accounts, you will continue to have the same service. However, you may want to consider upgrading to Act! Marketing Automation.
