Act! v24.0 Update 4 Available

Act! v24.0 was released in late September 2021.  Since then Act! has released three updates to v24.0.  To get an overview of new features in v24, please read this blog.

Some highlights of changes in update 4:

  • Important security patch
  • Fixes issue exporting data to CSV file (File > Export)
  • More date range options for Act! Insights and Opportunity Pipeline views
  • Outlook Integration: more options for manually attaching email histories to multiple contacts and assign a priority when creating an activity within the addin

It is best to have a coordinated plan to update all machines in a timely manner.  All users of your database must be on the same upgrade for some Act! features to function properly.

Note: While it is important to take action and apply the necessary updates in order to address the security vulnerability, remote database synchronization users should be careful to coordinate with their Act! administrator or AspenTech CRM for next steps.  If a remote user applies the updates and the server is not also updated, synchronization errors will occur.  Errors will also occur if the server is updated and the remote users are not.
