3 Ways to Get Team Buy-in for Your CRM
Many companies take great care when purchasing a CRM, but they often drop the ball when it comes to implementation. If your team isn’t working with the CRM software – the system won’t work. Here are three ideas for engaging your team and ensuring buy-in for your CRM:
- There’s an app for that. Download the mobile app for your CRM and encourage your team to do the same. Having the entire office within fingertips’ reach will keep everyone connected and aware of each day’s priorities. Rather than the “Did I do that…?” keeping everyone up at night, a quick check of the mobile app will allow for a restful sleep. It also makes remote working a breeze.
- Make it about them… and make it fun! Involve your team in the CRM set up. Hold a team meeting when creating or upgrading your system and collaborate on general entries, how tasks will be assigned, and how the CRM can make everyone’s life easier. To engage the team with your current system, get competitive with a friendly contest encouraging them to use the progress-tracking feature.
- Host a group training. Do your employees cringe when they hear the dreaded words, “Watch the tutorial.”? Without training, many of your team members will “figure it out” themselves – and that almost always means they are not using the CRM in the most productive way possible. They’re “figuring out” just the bare minimum for their job, not what the CRM system was implemented for. Set up a custom-tailored training that addresses your custom implementation and the issues unique to your office and each team member.
