Windows Vista Security and Support Ends in April of 2017

Windows Vista

Windows Vista® will release its final batch of security updates on April 11, 2017.  After that, support will not be performed for fixing possible errors that occur on the platform.  Further, Windows Vista® is not support by Act! v19 CRM.

For the small percentage of users that are still using Windows Vista® the discontinuation of support and security could have a major impact on the operating systems.  Despite inspiring features in Windows 7, 8 and 10 there is a migration away from supporting Vista and the adoption of new technologies.

For Act! CRM users this update is extremely important because Windows Vista® is not compatible with Act! v19.  If you are currently using Vista as your operating system and are thinking about upgrading to Act! v19 please contact us.
