Act! CRM Sunset WebinarWhat You Need To KnowLater this fall, Act! 2013 will be made obsolete or as they say in the software industry it will be “sunset”.  For those using Sage Act! 2013 here are the important aspects of sunset to consider:

  1. This fall Act! 2013 will no longer be supported by Act! Any calls for support will be directed to the Act! consulting community, where we will continue to support it to the best of our ability.
  2. Act! 2013 licenses will no longer be available for purchase after the sunset on 9/30/2015. If you need an additional license you’ll have to purchase new licenses for all your Act! users.
  3. Users will no longer qualify for upgrade pricing. This means that you must pay “new license pricing” to get the current version and with Act!’s new subscription pricing, your lifetime cost for future Act! versions will always be higher, 35% higher. Attendees to our August 20 webinar will be guaranteed our lowest Act! price of the year.
  4. Act! 2013 will not be supported on new versions of MS Office 2013, MS Windows and MS Server (beyond Server 2012).  View Act! 2013’s current system requirements here: http://www.act.com/products/system/2013/premium/
  5. Staying on ACT! 2013 deprives you of all the benefits implemented since its release.  Click here: http://www.aspen-tech.com/crm-software/act-features-by-version
