Derek, that is an excellent point. Sage’s decision was controversial and didn’t please a lot of users.

Joe, yes, Sage ACT! 2011 is compatible with 32-bit MS Office 2010. I mention 32-bit because, Office 2010 comes in both 32-bit and 64-bit versions. We’ve seen some companies install the 64-bit version because their PC’s are 64-bit. Not necessary nor desirable. The average user only needs 32-bit. Reid, Larry Ritter of Sage did announce that Sage would not be creating a patch to provided Office 2010 functionality in ACT! 2010. If you intend to stay with ACT! 2010, then the best option is what we pointed out in the blog to regain limited email integration. Otherwise, to get full integration with Office 2010, you will need to upgrade to ACT! 2011.
